Measuring just shy of 1-inch long, this strikingly stunning original Art Deco dinner ring sparkles up and down with an array of small single-cut diamonds, together weighing 0.68 carats, accenting a marquise diamond 0.25 carat center within a navette border composed of 0.24 carats of royal blue calibre sapphires. Decorative piercing and delicate milgraining add the finishing flourishes to this distinctive and dazzling Jazz Age jewel. Hand fabricated in 18k yellow gold topped in white gold, circa 1930s. Currently ring size 6.
This treasure appears to have been lightly worn and is in excellent vintage condition. The top panel of the ring measures approximately 23mm long x 10.75mm wide not including the diamond bedecked shoulders. While quite substantial in size, it is set low and hugs the finger, making it a joy to wear. I can not imagine anyone being less than thrilled to own this ring. Please feel free to ask any questions.
