This is a charming antique diamond which was hand cut and features a small long culet at the bottom of the stone for a distinct aesthetic of the era. We know the date of this engagement ring to be prior to 1926 because we acquired the wedding band from the same estate which was engraved with the date 10-12-26. The wedding band is shown with the engagement ring in some of the photos and is available for purchase separately. The diamond was recently sent to GIA for certification, (Photos are available by request) the report number is purposely not shown in photos so that the information can not be used fraudulently, the original report will accompany the diamond to its new owner. After certification, the diamond was carefully reset into its original platinum mounting, polished, and is now ready for a new finger to adorn with its elegant and classic beauty. The ring can easily be sized and will be accompanied with an appraisal for 9860.00. This is a high quality heirloom ring that is sure to please.
