Back from the jewelry spa and looking fabulous is this striking Victorian Navette Diamond ring. She’s looking to adorn her next owner with her unique charm and character.
This ring is crafted in fine 18k yellow gold, unmarked but tested and heavily encrusted with antique rose cut diamonds of various sizes and clarities. One of the things those who appreciate antique jewelry love is character and perfect imperfection and this ring has that in spades. Low to the hand and an open non-foil setting means this beauty is immensely wearable. Rose cuts are notoriously difficult to measure and as such our best estimate is 1.30 carat total weight of diamonds of varying qualities from eye clean to included with some clear crystal feather like inclusions and some black carbon spots as typical of the time; estimated at L/M color - a very pleasing antique vanilla white. Each diamond was hand cut 100-200 years ago and then individually placed close together in a cobblestone effect. She has picked up some signs of wear over the centuries with some chips and cracks to stones but they all remain secure in their settings and we honestly wouldn’t change a thing. The unique sparkle that comes from this ring is a delight. Video is available for immediate viewing on our Instagram page Vanessaatheritagejewelry or we can send a video link by request.
