Up for sale is my 1.117 ct M SI1 August Vintage Solitaire set in an unplated white gold "Brenda" setting from Good Old Gold (size 6.5). The setting is in good shape but could maybe use a polish if you are giving it as a gift.
The stone measures 6.60 x 5.99 x 3.87 mm. It faces up completely eye clean with lovely pastel overtones from the big, chunky facets. It faces up quite white but you do see the "M" tint from the side of the stone as I've tried to photograph below.
I purchased this ring in January 2019 from another PS'er intending to make the diamond the center stone of a three ring custom project. While I was planning that project, I fell in love with a different AVC ring and purchased it instead and sadly I cannot justify keeping ALL of these lovely diamonds.
The photos below show the 1.117 August Vintage Diamond with my 1.05 ct modern round brilliant J stone and my new AVC three stone with a 1.3 ct K center. I tried to photograph against a white and black background to give you the best idea of the overall color of the diamond.
