Art deco 9ct yellow gold and platinum Ruby & Spinel Ring. Size 5.5. The center is a princess cut Ruby. It measures 7.5 mm x 7.5 mm and weighs approximately 30 points. It’s surrounded by 12 whites spinel round cuts that weigh approximately two points each totaling 24 points. The Ruby tests as such an a Presidium gem tester. I’m guessing based on color and clarity that it is synthetic, which was typically used during that time. It’s in wonderful condition with one flea bite that’s only seen with a loop. It sits very low on the hand, the milgrain is crisp. I was planning to keep this one but I haven’t gotten around to sizing it yet, so I thought I’d offer it and see if there was any interest. I am always open for trades for the right thing.
