This beautiful ring hails from the Edwardian Era right at the turn of the century 1901-1915. Diamonds set in finely hand worked Platinum were popular in jewelry of this era which had a floral and feminine feel. Also know as Belle Époque "the beautiful era" the style of light and airy jewelry utilizing platinum was a distinct swing from the heavier and darker mourning jewelry fashionable during the reign of Queen Victoria. This style remains one of the most enduringly popular and collectable eras of collecting within fine jewelry. This ring remains in excellent condition, ready to be worn and admired once again. At the center a Oval synthetic Ruby measuring 6.50x5.30x3.0mm glows from a double diamond halo surround. The diamonds are of the era Old European Cut and single cut, near colorless and eye clean clarity SI-I1. Ask for a video link to appreciate the beautiful sparkle this ring displays!
