Description

This is a stunning 14ct rose gold ring. It is set with round cut diamonds around the centre stone and half way down the shank. The centre stone is a spectacular 3.92ct cognac tourmaline, cut by Gary Braun of Finewater Gems in the US. It is a cushion cut, 9.6x9.6x6.8mm. Huge!

The setting was custom made to fit the stone. It is a size 6, or M 1/2. There is a tiny 'notch' on the underside of the gallery for my 2mm band to sit on top of, in keeping with my OCD for flush sitting rings. The ring has great presence and the tourmaline is bright, lively, beautifully cut and full of fire. It has no windowing and excellent clarity. it.

I am purely selling this ring because it doesn't get worn as often as I'd like. It is a true statement piece, but with the subtlety and warmth of the rose gold. The gallery is fine so I would recommend this as an occasional piece.
