Description

Antique (pre-1910) platinum brooch with 103 European cut diamonds. The center .6kt stone is mounted in a millegrain bezel flanked by (102) 1.0 – 4.17 mm Old European Cut Diamonds, for an estimated weight of .005 - .29 ct. each/6.37 cttw. with a clarity rating of VS2- SI2, G-H color and good proportions. The diamonds are mounted securely in millegrain engraved bezels or finely pave’ set, forming a 7.8 x 2.8 cm pointed oval. The pin is fitted with an 18kt yellow gold, hinged, locking pin back. The brooch is very well made and in very good condition. The total mounted weight of the brooch 13.3 grams.
