Our latest upcycle project comes from an antique Victorian Era (1837-1901) Stickpin that has been carefully reworked into a pendant for the modern wearer. This serpent with his pleasant expression is a delight to admire. His tail was carefully worked into a bale so that he remains entirely original without additions. Crafted in 14k rose gold this antique faint pink gold tone is simply beautiful. The pearl that our snake guards remains lovely with a high luster and a single old mine cut diamond shines brightly from the head of the snake. We love the hand applied details that remain crisp and clear and know whoever is the next caretaker of this little treasure will be as enamored as we are! We were extremely lucky to have tucked in our safe an antique curb link chain that is a match to the lovely faint pink rose gold. It is also 14k and is 18.5 inches long. They look like they were made for each other but if you have a chain you would like to use we can sell the pendant separate from the chain. Pricing for the pendant without the chain is 750. Total weight of the pendant is 1.057g. It measures 16mm long by 8.5mm wide. The old mine cut diamond has high puffy crown and an open culet with kozibe effect where the culet is reflected in a outer circle towards the edge of the diamond - a very desired quality of antique hand cut diamonds. The diamond is estimated to weight between .07-.08 ctw. It is a fine quality being white and clean to the naked eye, estimated color H/I/J estimated clarity SI. The pearl measures between 5.5-5.6mm round.
The curb link chain weighs 4.367g and is 18.5 inches long, the links are approximately 2.09mm wide. It is stamped 14k on the spring ring.
