Here is a brilliant Zircon! This stone just dance in hand because of the fabulous cut. This is a Dutch Rose Cut stone, which is different from a traditional Rose Cut because they are taller with an additional set of facets at the girdle. The stones are a pure white color that is radiant. They absolutely look like Diamonds and they display blue flashes of dispersion when moved. You can see the classic birefringence (facet doubling) that Zircon displays, in the photos. Zircon has a bad rap because it is often confused by many as cubic zirconia. However, Zircon is a natural mineral and chemically is zirconium orthosilicate. This stone will make a fabulous stacking style ring! Enjoy!
