Beautifully matched custom cut Burma peridot pair. Purchased as a set of 4 from Jeff Davies but ended up only using two to make earring attachments. All four look identical so I have included how the stone appears set in yellow gold. The pair weigh 3.73ct total and fit perfectly in 7x9mm setting (as shown for my earring). Stones are 8.5 x 7mm. Purchase price for two $335.

The stones look better in person so you will not be disappointed. Selling for what I purchased for.
I am MrsM on PS. As I am a private seller, no returns.

Purchased this from LT a few months ago but sadly orange does not look good on me -- plus I have a new project to fund.
7.5mm
1.85ct
Old Nigerian material
Lloyd Forrester
eye clean, but slightly silky looking, which is typical for orange garnets
Pictures do not do this stone justice at all. This stone has very little brown or yellow modifier and is amazingly orange. The picture on the Facebook page and the picture in the low light are the most accurate as far as color goes - my camera tends to want to turn the bright orange body color into yellow.
This stone looks amazing in full sunlight and in shade. It also glows in low light conditions, as can be seen in one of the pictures.
Please feel free to ask questions.
Price includes shipping. As I am a private seller, all sales are final.

This pink spinel weighs 0.85 carat and measures 6.4 x 5.5 mm. It is precision cut in the US and has nice clean crystal, giving it very nice sparkle and fire. The color is pink with a touch of purple, it is eye-clean, untreated and from Southeast Asia.
The spinel is listed on a no-reserve auction (ends today): http://www.ebay.com/itm/111530681709

Here's a very nice Mahenge spinel, measuring 0.5 carats and 4.2 x 3.8mm. It is a nicely saturated and glowy pinkish red color, that Mahenge spinels are best known for. It is eye-clean, well cut into a princess-style cut, and comes from Mahenge, Tanzania. It packs a lot of color for a little gem, and glows in the sunlight!
It is listed on a no-reserve auction:

I have been on the fence with regards to keeping this stone for a project ring, or going in a different direction, and I think I have decided on the latter. So my loss is your gain!
Gorgeous and sparkly as the day is long. Will include certificate of authenticity. Since Loupe Troop's email/message service is notoriously unreliable, email me at violettblue at gmail dot com if interested.

OK short lesson in Cassia Rufa shell there are male (the ones that are used for cameos as the color is amazing) and females which has white shell with the color in the layers. Now when I started carving I found shells and I was sworn to up and down that they were male shells....as you can see here this cameo is from female shell lol I wanted to practice with my gravers and decided that a tropical fish was sitting there.
I cut the shell with my jewelers saw by hand then I used my ONE count it One graver to carve lol
So if you like this baby fishie about 30mm across and from top to bottom as you can see it will take a lot of imagination to set this one. The shell is fairly thick and so is the carving.
and yeah I roughly signed the back it is one of my first cameos
So are you an expert wire wrapper? Or a jeweler who can see a fabulous design?
