Stunning emerald cut diamond, yes it is a diamond, colorless and great specs. This is a CVD lab grown diamond that is E/VVS1. The stone depending on lighting is very slightly included (almost eye clean) to moderately included. In bright direct light, it is very hard to see the inclusions which are white because of light reflecting from facets. In low indirect light, you can see the moderate inclusions much easier, which are located in the bottom middle of stone near the culet. Not all over the stone. There are a few other inclusions in the stone but they are very minor. I do have pictures & video to show this upon request. Though the inclusions are there, this stone still is very beautiful & priced well for a bi-color this large & colorful. It also holds its color in all lights. No shifting. I’ve tried to capture it with a picture, but while it is close (hard to capture as I’m not set up for CFL light), the color is prettier to the eye, with a hair more pinkish component. I bought this online and when it arrived, I realized it just wasn't my style and I am not likely to do anything with it. It is a 6.0ct purple lab sapphire that color shifts from juicy pinkish purple to purple with grey tones and even hints of tealy grey flashes in different lights (greyish and tealy flashes cannot be captured in photos). The crown is apex faceted (as opposed to having a flat table). Photo on hand is next to a 1.17ct stone which is approx 6.6x5.1 mm and my ring finger is size 4.5. So you can see this purple sapphire is a huge stone! It does have 3 extremely minor chips on the edges/girdle. These can be easily hidden with deliberate prong placement or a bezel setting. Or, because it is a good size, it could be a candidate for a recut to remove the chips. However they are tiny and not noticed unless under close scrutiny. Despite that, it is still a beautiful stone, and the price is low due to the minor chips. Shipping in North America is +$10 for a total of $80 CAD. For international shipping, I'll have to get an estimate. As I am a private seller, funds will have to be sent via Paypal FF, and no refunds.
