This amazing Peruvian opal positively GLOWS. The stone is enchanting, and Peruvian opal of this quality if rare. As a bonus, it's faceted to make setting easier. The only flaws are a couple of brownish spots on the bottom.

The stone weighs 4.87 cts. and measures 12.4mm x 14mm x 6.3mm.

I always pictured this as a split shank statement ring with a tiny halo surrounding it or as an amazing pendant. To that end, I even had diamondzone quote a price for the setting I imagined in 10K gold with the halo - $265 -- which you can see here in different dimensions: https://goo.gl/S3nwxt.
