I'm having a change of heart. I purchased this on a whim, feeling strongly it was too good to pass up. I will take me several years to save up and turn these into the ring I would want. So, I'm passing these beauties on to someone who is closer to being able to use them.

The weighty vintage 18k yellow gold and platinum pin arrived today. I was stunned when I examined the diamonds. There are 11 very clean, very bright, consistently cut old european diamonds. These would make a perfectly matched ring. The seller listed them at 1.75ctw, but it could be more if the stones are removed and weighed. They graduate from 3.8mm to 3.2mm, and (in their mountings) have a finger coverage of 1 5/8 inches.

The pin, which arrived in its original vintage box is in perfect shape to continue it life as a pin. I think it would even be beautiful if given a slight arch and attached to a chain and worn as a bracelet! Beautiful sparkle and very comfortable.
