I originally purchased this to set in a YG cup, and make into a pendant for myself. That project is now scrapped and I need the funds to pay back my credit card! t's an edge-to-edge bright light yellow stone with no fish-eye or nail head. I don't have an ASET, but I do have an IdealScope, so I can at least show you leakage vs. light return. The IdealScope images shows that it there is no leakage at the edges, like most old cuts have. It's one very very bright stone!
It was sold to me as a "light yellow" diamond, but my non-professional self would think it is a Q-R range, maybe S-T. It is very obviously light yellow in most lighting conditions, nothing "ivory" like an MNOP range.
I went to measure it at my jewelers, and it is 5.6x5.5mm at 0.69/0.70ct. The scale was not being firm, so I'm rounding down to be conservative. It's not too wonky shaped at all, in fact, it appears very round.
Upon further examination, it appears to have two tiny flea bites, as seen in the IdealScope images. They are very minuscule, and I cannot feel it with my nails or fingers when rubbing against the girdle. The girdle is not paper thin like most old cuts are, and is not sharp to the touch. My jeweler did not notice these; it could just be very visible to me from blowing up the image many times.
Note: I do not have a nice camera to take polished photos from a distance, so there is some reflection of my iPhone's black camera lens hole in the last picture. The diamond does not have any dark spots or excess leakage. If I get any further from the diamond, it just gets all over bright, like in picture #2, so that darkness in picture #3 at least helps show you the patterning.
I can attempt to take better photos during the daylight, and a better video, if you're interested. Here's a video the diamond indoors. You can see how bright it is, and how there's no funkiness going on.. and even catch a couple times where it reflects my orange shirt!
