Description

This pretty Ceylon sapphire is a pleasing periwinkle color, always showing a mix of blues and purples with a little pink. Unheated and untreated, from Nivitigala mine in Sri Lanka.

Great cut and very clean stone. Also a good size, at 4.8mm it can work in 5mm settings. Shown with the larger 5.8mm purple sapphire I also have listed for sale, as you can see this one tends more to blue than purple.

Weighs 0.63ct, measures 4.8mm. $350/ct for total of $220.
