These are officially sold, thank you!
I've been on a major spending spree over the last few months...now I need to fundraise for setting costs, so I'm being ruthless! I'll be listing a lot of nice gems bc I have too many "lookalikes", lol!
Please contact me at
rather than using LT's system - I hardly ever actually receive messages sent through LT!
Up for grabs:
A pair of @3 mm hauyne or hauynite (I've seen both names), natural and untreated. Purchased from Yvonne Raley within the last 6 months or thereabouts. Extremely rare, the color is really fantastic. I was shocked at what a bright blue they are. I really like these but can't figure out what to do with them, and as they're so difficult to find (Yvonne sold out immediately), I thought I would offer them here. These would make really neat tiny earrings or side stones, they're a well matched pair. (Please understand that they are very small - which can be hard to tell from the pics, as they are blown up to better show the gems).
(I'm using Yvonne's pics bc they're way better than anything I could take).
Asking $199 shipped insured in the US
I'm including the listing info per Yvonne, for those who would like addt'l info:
"The gem is totally off the beaten path, even for me. These gems are called "hauynite" and come from only one location in the world, the Eiffel in Germany. It belongs to the sodalite group. The gems are not treated, they are brighter than sapphire and yes, even brighter than cobalt spinel. The price is comparable to paraiba tourmaline, unfortunately, clean specimens, even in tiny size, are rare. These babies are gem quality, very bright, clean. I saw them in Tucson - a German seller had them. Production is very low, but when I saw these in a little bowl from which I had to fish through to find these, I just HAD to have them.
Here are the specs for this pair:
Size: 2.9mm
Shape: Round, diamond cut
Combined Weight: .17cts
Origin: Eiffel Germany
Treatment: None
Per ct. Price: $1400
Price for the pair: $238"
Please email me about anything. I'm selling out of my collection and strongly prefer not to do returns, so I will be happy to honestly answer any questions you have to the best of my ability :). I ship within the US only due to shipping/liability issues with int'l mail. PayPal only please. Thanks for looking! More pics available on request.
I am katharath on PS and eBay and here; I've had many successful transactions, buy with confidence.
