Description

On sale - Hauyne ovals! Each is about 4.1x3.1mm, and .15cts. If you know about Hauyne, you know that the crystals are typically very small, which means that faceted stones of even this size are hard to find. The mines in Germany are not producing, and finding these couple pieces at a show was like a needle in a haystack.

These are a great match on size. Colorwise one is a bit deeper cut and deeper blue than the other. The deeper stone has a few more inclusions, the lighter stone is very clean. Hauyne blue is like a glowy cobalt spinel color, or "Jedi blue" spinel. They would work as earrings or components but probably not right next to each other if you want a perfect match, though with material this rare that might not be a concern.

Selling for $150 each or $275/pair. (Most of the time that would be the price per piece, if you can even find any!). They are shown in last group photo on left side, just look at that neon blue!
