For sale is a 1.28ct Mahenge spinel cut by Barry Bridgestock of ACStones. It measures 6.4mm in diameter. The stone was described by him as a medium pinkish-purple that shifts in color and is flawless (any specs on the stone are fuzz and not inclusions.) I have mixed feelings about listing this one, but I've held onto it for several years and I think it's time to let it go. Spinels this size cut by him, are rare to come by and the Mahenge origin is another rarity as well. Photos were taken in natural outdoor lighting. I would say that the color is medium-pink/red/purple in person.
