Bought this on LT a while ago and just couldn't decide how to set it. I hope it sparks your creativity!
Never set, 1.60ct 6.84 x 6.82 x 4.9mm natural sapphire. Precision-cut and labeled "padparadscha" by Peter Torraca. Represented (by PT to the original owner, and by her to me) as unheated. Although it may not be saturated enough to make it as a pad according to the labs, it does show orange-pink in some lights, more mauve pink in others, and magenta pink in incandescent. To be honest, I haven't found a clear pattern, so I'll just describe the lighting environment for the photos!
The hand pic is in the kitchen under diffuse natural light (skylight). The high-contrast zoomed shot is under CFLs. Low-contrast loupe shot was under indirect daylight and shows inclusions, which are invisible to my eye (surface blemishes are just because I was handling the stone; it's not scratched or chipped in any way). Lower-contrast zoomed table-down shot shows its BEAUTIFUL cutting; lovely large facets with short LGFs like an old European diamond. Sorry about the yucky lint. :)
Asking $550, includes tracked priority mail shipping. The stone comes in its original box with Peter Torraca's formal description on it. Paypal only, please.
Private seller, so please ask all questions. No returns unless stone was misrepresented. I'm happy to take and send more photos, and to provide you with any other information you'd find helpful! I'm on Pricescope as evergreen.
