This spinel is stunning. It is a very light silvery gray color, appearing almost colorless when upside down.

The cut is fantastic, it looks to be modeled after an Old European Cut diamond in pattern, and very bright.

Unfortunately, as is the case with most of these gray spinels, it is ridiculously difficult to photograph - due to the mirror-like nature of the facets, the black camera lens can't help but be reflected in the facets. As a result, the most accurate image for color is the hand shot. Rest assured that any darkness seen in the stone is a reflection of the camera.
