Run away gemstone! One of the scariest things I have learned about photographing stones is that sometimes they try and run away from your hand! This one tried, but I caught it before she even hit the ground. This is a beautiful .62 ct fuchsia pink spinel in a oval cut. This was going to be a 80's themed project with a yellow chrysoberyl and tsavorite garnet (remember those neon colors everyone used to love and wear).
