Up for sale is a beautiful, antique Russian marquise cut sapphire and old cut diamond navette halo ring. The ring is 18K yellow gold and the top where the sapphire/diamonds are set is platinum. Ring consists of a marquise cut sapphire in the center surrounded by a halo of old cut diamonds and one diamond (two total) on the band. The sapphire is a nice, deep blue (not black) color. The diamonds are approximately G-H in color and approximately VS2-SI2 in clarity. Currently approximately slightly smaller than a size 8 and could be re-sized by within reason by your local jeweler. Marquise section including the sapphire and diamond halo measures approximately 16mm x 9mm. The ring weighs approximately 2.61 grams. The inside is not stamped but it has been tested to be 18k gold and platinum. This antique ring would make a wonderful addition to any jewelry collection.
