2 videos on first & second comment, showing different looks. One is in lower light than the other. Pictures taken in low light. Note – Opal of this quality is always better (brighter) in person, as the camera just does not pick up all the colors. Turntable video only represents looking at opal at one angle 360 degrees. I’d take hand videos to show all angles, but the camera goes out of focus due to the bright nature of Opal many times, combined with low light.

This Opal can sit still, & vivid neon colors are abundant. Turn it this way & that, & they glide all over the face of the stone. Highly 3-D, with large patches of red, orange yellow, & green. Blue, violet & purple are there too. in some lights, & lighting intensities. Like any Opal, it will change it colors based on what light you see it in, but it is always bright, & beautiful.

There are no dead spots. No cracks. Semi-transparent crystal Great cutting proportions. Pleasing shape. There is three very small poc holes on the back of the stone, where potch has been. They’re about a 1/4 of a mm deep, at the deepest. They in now way pose a threat to the stone stability, & since they are on the back, they do not affect the face up beauty. You can see them on the picture of the back of the stone.
