How would you like something with the word sugar in it that has no calories, carbs, or fat in it? Well you found it! A supercool sugarloaf cut Amethyst from Art Cut Gems I picked up a few years back. Like a lot of you, I own the Elizabeth Taylor "My Love Affair With Jewelry" book and saw her massive sapphire sugarloaf cut sapphire ring and became obsessed with the cut and the look. Well I don't have ET kind of money but I did find a well cut sugarloaf cabochon stone! This amethyst is a medium purple and very clean for a cabochon cut stone, and frankly I saw the sugarloaf rings they sell at the blue box store and this one is much nicer!
