Beautiful Cornflower Blue Kyanite. This stone is a dead ringer for much more expensive fine color blue Sapphire. Medium light tone with lots of life & high luster. Very, very slight, color zoning facing up in hand, which can only be seen at a angle. Eye clean facing up in hand (though the blown up hand pic shows inclusions), which is a rarity in Kyanite. Very well cut for a Kyanite, which is famous as on of the worse cut stones in the colored gemstone industry, this stone has no window.
