Beautiful Royal Blue Kyanite. This stone is a dead ringer for much more expensive fine color blue Sapphire. Medium tone with lots of life. No visible color zoning facing up, which Kyanite is noted for. Eye clean facing up in hand, which is a rarity in Kyanite. Very well cut for a Kyanite, which is famous as one of the worse cut stones in the colored gemstone industry, this stone has no window.
