2 Videos n first two comments – First video taken in natural daylight on a cloudy winter’s day. Second video taken under LED & fluorescent light. First picture taken in my office with just a lamp & sunlight through window. Other pictures taken under LED & fluorescent light.
Rare Spinel here. Has a definite strong color shift, almost a color change. It goes from a strong greenish blue in natural daylight & some mixed lighting, to a violetish blue in LED & fluorescent, with very little gray in either. The stone is a solid medium dark tone in both color shifts. So, if you don’t like your stones any darker than medium tone, this probably is not your rock. For those who do, they will be rewarded with a beautiful & rare Spinel!
The stones is eye clean, but in the pictures, you can see some typical Spinel inclusions. You cannot see these with out magnification. Big face up without window.
