This stone is very brilliant with lots of dispersion & life in a very transparent crystal. It has a very light tone violet color with a hint of pink, not unlike Kunzite or Rose de France Amethyst, but unlike those two it has superior optical properties with refractive indice & dispersion much higher. It is also a much harder & tougher stone ready for daily wear. Large face up. A gem!
