New & improved video & pictures. But some of the best stones sometimes take the worse videos & pictures. They are just stubborn! Unfortunately, this Spinel is one of them. Though the video & pictures are a good improvement, but the camera still wants to see brown, more so in LED & fluorescent light. There is no brown in this stone. Nothing compares to seeing this Spinel in person.

Video taken under natural Iowa sunlight light is best representation of stone. First wo picture taken under natural sunlight. Last two taken under LED & fluorescent light.
This is by far the best Padparadscha colored Spinel I have ever had. The color is where pink meets orange, a 50/50 split in a bright well saturated light tone, that holds its color in all lighting. No shift. No brown. No gray. Never dark, very little extinction in person. Dark areas are mostly where my black camera is reflecting off facets.

Lots of dispersion & great luster & brilliance, more so than video lets on from a nice cut & polish. Good face up size & very nice proportions.
The stone is eye clean. There is a feather inclusion that runs under the crown, but this cannot be seen without magnification, & has no bearing on the stability of the stone to be set. Also a small chip on the pavilion that you really have to look hard to see in bright light at the right angle.

A truly magnificent Spinel, that really needs to be seen in person to appreciate
