I have it on good authority that this Mozambique, Rubellite is copper bearing (cuperian) Tourmaline. Though I do not have a report stating so & I am not asking the high price many would.

The stone is eye clean facing up & holds its color under all lights, but its inclusions under magnifiacation suggest copper bearing. At any rate this is an incredibly neon magenta colored stone in a very light medium dark tone, almost medium in tone. Will fit in a 10 mm x 8.00 mm mount.
