This is one of best Padparadscha colored Spinel I’ve had. The color is where pink meets orange, a 50/50 split in a bright well saturated light tone. The stone shifts just a hair more orange (my camera can't capture it outdoors) in sunlight, but this depends on the time of day & where you live. No brown. No gray. Never dark, & next to no exctinction in person.

Lots of dispersion & great luster & brilliance. Good face up size & very nice proportions. The stone is eye clean. There is a whitish inclusion that runs under the crown, but this cannot be seen without magnification, & has no bearing on the stability or beauty of the stone to be set.

There are two naturals on a table facet. These cannot be seen with out a loupe.

A truly magnificent Spinel, that really needs to be seen in person to appreciate.
