Normally, the video is the best representation for a stone, but the pictures here are more representative than the video of the color. While the video give you a great view of this stones superb cut.

This Spinel actually is somewhat neon in naturual sunlight, as the hand picture shows. It is a bluish violet purple in sunlight. It shifts to a bright, nicely saturated pinkish purple in fluorescent. Both shifts are light in tone, so this stone is never dark. Very nice dispersion & sparkle. Nice face up & no window & eye clean. Beautiful stone.
