This is a very femine stone for those who like the soft touch. Much the same color as a "Rose de France," Amethyst, but with the superior hardness & optical properties of Spinel.

Delicate, bright & dispersive. It is also eye clean. You can not see the tiny inclusions with the unaided eye. Sweet stone.
