1.45ct Vietnamese cobalt color-change spinel!
Approximately 6.5mm x 5mm x 5mm
Bluish violet in sunlight, purple in incandescent light
The presence of cobalt as a coloring agent means this stone is BRIGHT for a color change stone (which are usually deeper toned)
Purchased in 2019 by GemsByJB on IG and recut by Jerry Newman (GemArtServices) in 2021 (never set!)
