Description

Loose 0.74ct neon green russian demantoid garnet. My photos doesn't do its justice, in person it's absolutely vivid bright neon green of a medium tone. The color is close to trade ideal which is slightly darker, but many people (like myself included) prefer this brighter color that never goes dark. At 0.74ct and 5.48mm this is a very respectable size for this uber rare material. It is eye clean with the nice horsetail inclusion visible under loupe. She is a brilliant and glittery sparkle bomb.

The comps out there for this stone from reputable sellers that I've found are around 2500-3000. CRD has one for 1950 but smaller and lesser color. I'm asking 1700 which I think is a fair price, and I'm okay with it if it doesn't sell right away. I can't believe I'm listing this as I never thought I'd possibly part ways with it (it's my birthstone too) but I'm attempting to clear out my collection for a large purchase.
