Here are a lovely pair of earrings I purchased in an antique shop 40 years ago. I removed the lapis lazuli drops from the broken earring mountings and had them re-set in 14k gold findings. The earrings drop about 1/75 in from the lobe and the stones are a gorgeous blue!
