From England circa 1979, here is a truly lovely - fully hallmarked - 9 karat gold bracelet made by and marked JAM for the J. A. Main company. It is stamped 375 for 9k gold, and has marks for the Sheffield assay office, and an “E” for 1979.
The bracelet fastens with a heart shaped “padlock” that opens and closes easily by lifting one end with a fingernail. The links are solid, sparkly, and nicely patterned. It is even in its original box (marked Mainline 9 carat gold hallmarked)! It weighs a hefty 15 grams according to my kitchen scale. It's a little fiddly to measure because of the attached safety chain and the way it fastens but it fits like a 7.25-7.50 inch bracelet on me.
This beautiful bracelet is in near mint condition, shiny and bright, and appears to have been hardly worn - if at all. It would make a stunning gift for the holidays.
Price includes USPS priority mail shipping with insurance and signature confirmation to confirmed Paypal addresses in the USA only.
