We are pleased to offer this Vintage Estate French 18k heavy link gold bracelet. Crafted in 18k yellow gold with a white metal decorative plaque, this bracelet is comprised of fixed stations and circle links that together form curb link bracelet. The piece bears two Eagles head stamps (French marks for 18k) one on each end, in addition to the stamps 18k and France, there is an additional stamp that we can not find information on - it could be a makers mark or a year date, plus an additional platinum plaque on the bracelet lobster clasp piece depicting a Chamois head. The Chamois head is the symbol for platinum in Swiss jewelry. We can not test the plaque for content without damaging it so we have chosen to not metal test this area of the bracelet. Era is unknown, this is a timeless, classic style of bracelet and does not present any stylistic clues as to the date of creation; it could have been created anytime from the 1960s to present day. A gorgeous etched design decorates the links and catches the sunlight for added sparkle. Fine detail embellishes the entire piece from every side so that a lovely pattern is visible when looking at the piece from any angle when worn. Video is available for immediate viewing on our Instagram page, we can also provide a you tube video link by request. The bracelet is just over 7 inches long in total, the thickness of the links mean it will be a tighter fit that other types of bracelets. We recommend this bracelet for a 6-6.5 inch wrist for the most comfortable fit. The bracelet is in excellent vintage condition. Light scuff marks and scratches consistent with normal wear. We have not polished this piece to preserve the natural patina but a jeweler could buff and polish this bracelet if the new owner desired. I can be reached directly via email at Vanessa@Heritagejewelry.com with any questions.
