This lovely bright white diamond has gorgeous sparkle and brilliance! The long beautiful facets are perfectly aligned (“Excellent” symmetry) to allow for the most spectacular flashes of light and a mesmerizing depth that gives off the famous “hall of mirrors” effect! A truly stunning and classic engagement ring, perfect for the lady who loves simple elegance.
Center diamond is a 1.7ct IGI graded lab emerald cut diamond, very white G color, flawless looking VS1. Excellent polish provides a beautiful shiny surface and excellent symmetry ensures maximum light return. While fancy cut diamonds, like this emerald cut, are not graded for their cut quality, this diamond has ideal proportions (crown angle-14%, table-63.5%, depth-62.8%) making it perform beautifully and face up like a 2ct emerald cut, measuring 8.11mm*5.73mm*3.6mm! LW ratio is about personal preference, but this diamond is within what is considered the “ideal” emerald cut range of 1.3-1.5 at a LW ratio of 1.42.
The 14k white gold setting was custom made by a small jeweler to fit the diamond perfectly and features delicate double claw prongs to keep the diamond secure and accentuate the cut corners of the emerald shape. The setting features a highly coveted thin band at 1.6-1.7mm wide that makes the diamond appear even larger than it already is. Ring is a size 4.75 and fits a standard size 5 finger, but it can also be easily resized.
Original IGI certificate included with protective plastic envelope.
Please ask any questions, I have videos and additional photos of the loose diamond and of the entire ring.
As this is a private sale, all sales are final. Price is incredibly low for a diamond of this size and quality and it includes insured shipping within the U.S.A.!
