Description

I purchased this from Dear Rose, With Love (DRWL) about six months back but find I'm not wearing it as much as I should. Passing it on to a new home! Sharing her description and photos here, with permission:

"A beautiful solid 9ct gold vintage ring. This is set with an opal cabochon which is surrounded by a sparkling halo of 14 genuine diamonds. A beautiful cluster ring! The opal has a white base, with a rainbow of lovely glittery colours displaying across the surface. Prettier in person than the photos show, opals are very hard to capture on camera.

Size K 1/2 (a small finger size) US size 5.75. Fully hallmarked as solid 9ct Gold, Birmingham, 1987. The ring weighs 2.2 grams. The opal is 8 x 6 mms in size. Each diamond measures approximately 1 mm. The face of the ring measures 12 x 9.5 mms.

In good vintage condition with minimal signs of wear and light age related tarnish. Please see the photos."
