An absolutely gorgeous opal and white sapphire halo ring. I suspect this ring is mid-century (1950s) but it could be a bit older. The center stone is an oval Ethiopan opal measuring 10 x 7 mm. The opal has the most lovely color play of blues, purples, and even a bit of orange. The opal is surrounded by 16 glistening white sapphire stones. These sapphires measure 2 mm each. The entire ring is over 1/2 inch long and has a great presence on the hand.
The ring is hallmarked for 10k gold and it tests as such. It is in excellent vintage condition with a few minor scratches on the underside of the band. A few surface scratches can be seen with a 10x loupe but overall this ring is in amazing condition. All prongs are tight and stones secure. This ring could be easily resized if needed as well but it is currently a size 4.25.
Asking price includes shipping within the US, but I am open to offers.
