Up for sale is a unique and pretty, kind of gothic piece purchased from GildedLane on Etsy. I'm using her photos and description, because the photos are better than mine (but will take photos for you without a problem- they just wont' be as pretty) and her listing was very detailed. This ring has a lot of presence on the hand.
A custom cut pink tourmaline is in the setting (which is 5.9mm x 5.3 mm ) held by prongs. The metal is not marked but it tests 9ct gold. On the original listing, it was noted that an antique dealer described the metal as 'black gold,'and said it was a technique used in the 40s to antique metal. The side stones are all old single cuts or old European cuts and are approximately .95 ct total weight. It's a very lively ring with a lot of sparkle. The entire ring has a surface measurement of 17.6 mm x 18.9 mm and is currently a size 8 (but sizable). It weighs 4.6 grams.
There is one cracked diamond in the melee. It is secure in the setting so I didn't change it but it is there on the side. There is also a non-surface reaching feather in the tourmaline, as they should be with any colored stone ring.
Please ask any and all questions, as all sales are final. I paid $686 plus shipping for the piece, but am willing to consider reasonable offers. I have worn it maybe 2 times since purchase. Please add $20 for insured shipping in the U.S. Thanks for looking!
