A lovely Victorian (circa 1900) pheasant animal brooch, set in silver and featuring clear paste stones on the body and a sparkling red paste as the eye. The pin is not hallmarked for silver but was tested by my jeweler. I have priced it as silver plated because I can't confirm whether it is solid sterling or not. The paste stones are lovely and sparkling. A few of them have darkened slightly but this does not detract from the sparkle. The pin measures 1.5 inches x .5 inch and is in excellent vintage condition. The brooch has a few slight areas of wear but overall has been well preserved. Looks great as is or would make a great pendant conversion.
Asking price includes shipping within the US, but I am open to offers.
