Lustrous white hand-carved jadeite eternity interlocking fidelity hoop pair for earrings pendant bracelet Type A Burma jadeite jade

Type A Burma jadeite carved as a pair of interlocking eternity hoops, symbolising faith, belief, fidelity and inter-connectedness.

Jadeite material is icy-glutinous white and translucent with torch or held against the light, fine/medium-grained with good lustre and water content. This is more angularly carved by hand with slightly more uneven planes.

This workmanship is only done by hand and can't be done with machinery. Thus, older and more skilled craftsmen will undertake this work. Jadeite material also has to be intact and nigh perfect to achieve the 2 interlocking hoops, resulting in high wastage to yield ratio.

Can be worn as a pendant, set as a pair of earring dangles, bracelet etc. Currently my only pair in white.
