A brief overview of Jade: Jade consists of two types, Jadeite and Nephrite. Jadeite is the most expensive jade while Nephrite is not expensive. Jadeite only comes from Burma (Myanmar) and has many colors, but the most expensive are green and white, while Nephrite is produced in many countries including Indonesia, which we know as Aceh Jade. The Jadeite I offer here has a rare purplish white color with a round cut model that shines and translucent clarity (the most expensive clarity on Jadeite).Jadeite is divided into three types based on lab comments:
-Type A = No Treatment
-Type B = Slightly treated for color enhancement
-Type C = Heavily treated/usually dyed
