This is a fabulous unheated padparadscha, great color, clarity, cutting – no flaws and a great size for a ring.
The origin of this one is Sri Lanka, and it has typical Ceylon coloring. A delicate pink-orange balance, pastel saturation. Different look than the more intense, yet not always pure new pads from Madagascar. In this stone you definitely have no modifier, nothing but orange and pink.
Here is a video of this beauty, shaded daylight: https://youtu.be/bFu7hwoUP9c
Please note: the color in the video is more accurate than in the still pictures.
No origin report yet, just the AGL brief. Ceylon origin is guaranteed though and a report upgrade is possible, if desired.

One word about wearing this delicate Ceylon-pad hue: if you have bronzy or dark skin, you can wear this color in whatever setting you want…platinum and diamonds will work great. If you have lighter skin and want the pad to “pop” against your skin, set it in rose gold, which will very effectively prevent the pad color to “blend in” with your skin tone. If you are interested, please do not hesitate to ask about my own 18K rose gold alloy which, in my opinion, is the perfect complement to delicate pad colors.
As usual, this sapphire comes with free shipping (overnight within the US), safe payment through regular Paypal, and a 7 day no-questions-asked return policy.
