Icy floating dark moss green flower jadeite bangle fits 61 to flexible 62. Type A Burma jadeite.
Inner diameter 61.6mm
Destashing my jadeite bangle collection I've collected over the years, when jadeite prices were good.
This is a modern D-style (flat inner surface) jadeite bangle. I have worn this a handful of times.
This is my first icy jadeite bangle and I was absolutely over the moon with the iciness. It only stoked the yen to get more, which I have, thus time to let this go. Very good value by today's prices, which are well over US$1000 for similar or even lesser ice!
The icy base colour is not white but with yellow and green within, depending how the light hits it. The floating dark mossy/seaweed green is a lovely full pattern round the bangle. Being icy, you can see some cotton bits within, which is normal for icy bangles, even those costing mid thousands and up.
The texture is fairly even, with medium crystal/grain aggregate by icy standards. Translucent. There are several very tiny pit marks amidst the patterns on the surface, which is quite typical of floating greens, since these are different minerals from the icy base and there are wont to be such when they come together, naturally. Not obvious with the naked eye.
Very good value for an icy with moss green flower bangle.
