Dreamy pink and white Type A Burma jadeite bangle. Fits 60 to flexible 61.
Inner diameter 60.4mm
Destashing my jadeite bangle collection I've collected over the years, when jadeite prices were good.
This is a rounded D (flat inner surface) jadeite bangle that is the most dreamy pink ever, mixed with white/off- white portions.
The Chinese jade trade calls this sakura pink and this bangle has 2 pin-sized flecks of the signature orange jadeite that usually accompanies this material. This material hardly ever occurs in large sizes and goes for a few thousand dollars if perfect. I have worn this for a week-long trip.
The texture is awesome and with very fine grain, much like bone china. The colour does not fade even in strong lights. Good water, lustre and translucency.
However, the material has stone lines within that do not reach the surface and resemble part of the busy pattern of white in pink. Nothing obvious with the naked eye and a very good buy for this premium material if you can accept its imperfections. You will be hard pressed to find another like this in terms of colour, grain and size.
