I got this ruby from an antique jewelry seller on eBay for a great price so I am passing it along. Note: there is a scratch on the table, but I'm assuming that could be polished out if it bothers you. You can see it in the photos.
Unfortunately, I don't have many details on this stone as it was sold to me as a ct., and I have neither a scale nor caliper. I looked through the loupe to make sure there was no evidence of fracture treatment, and there's not. Not sure if it's been heated.
Color is a medium to medium-dark depending on the light. At times, the stone is super glowy and RED and at others, it looks more like the flatter and darker ruby color.
With that said, the ruby came from a VERY reputable dealer with tens of thousands of sales, and spotless feedback. The shop has a return policy but I was just too lazy to return this.

Sale is final as I'm a private seller but I have lots of satisfied buyers from LT! And you can look up my Ebay feedback (bionicmckee).

You can absolutely use "pay for goods/services" which affords you buyer protection. I just ask that if you pay this way (goods/services) *or* use a credit card, please cover the fees, which are 3 percent of the purchase price. Thanks so much!
Having said that, you are welcome to use the “friends and family” option.
